Dr. Michael Koyfman, DMD
Michael Koyfman, DMD is a graduate of Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN. He then went back home to New Jersey to attend dental school at UMDNJ. After his four years of dental school, Dr. Koyfman completed a year of advanced dental education with the University of Florida.
Dr. Koyfman has attended hundreds of hours of continuing education and during this time has attained a fellowship in Implantology from the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Florida Dental Association, and Dental Society of Greater Orlando. Dr. Koyfman is an active researcher for DPBRN (dental practice-based research network), which publishes clinical research studies worldwide.
For the past eight years Dr. Koyfman has volunteered at the downtown Orlando Research Dental Clinic serving the dental needs of the underprivileged. In addition, he and a few members of his dental team have volunteered with Dentistry from the Heart, an annual event providing free dentistry to those in the Central Florida community. Dr. Koyfman has also volunteered his dental services to the Harbor House.
Dr. Koyfman is a resident of Winter Park. He is married with two wonderful small children. Dr. Koyfman is an avid basketball player and sports fan.
Dr. Gita Rewari, DDS
Dr. Rewari is a graduate of the prestigious New York University Dental School where she earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery. She continued her post graduate education and training at Bronx Lebanon University. There she gained additional experience in various specialities including oral and maxillofacial surgery and pediatrics. Dr. Rewari has been nationally recognized with her published dental research in numerous dental journals.
Dr. Rewari and her husband recently relocated to Orlando after practicing dentistry in New York and New Jersey. She is an active member of the American Dental Association and the Florida Dental Association. She is also very active in the Orlando Advanced Study Clubs where she presents and reviews patient cases to other doctors and specialists. Dr. Rewari dedicates herself to more than a hundred hours of continued education each year.
Dr. Rewari strongly believes in listening to her patients needs and concerns to ensure that treatment is presented in a way that is effective, honest and comfortable. Delivering quality dental care is her primary goal.
In her leisure time, she enjoys spending time with her family as well as cooking and running.
Cathy has worked at Koyfman Dental since 2006.. Trained as a dental assistant she also has worked as an insurance coordinator and is well versed in all aspects of dental administration. Cathy strives to find creative ways to make dental care affordable. In her spare time she is married and a grandma of three. She is also a big Disney fan.
Born and raised in Orlando Florida. Percella is the first welcoming face you see when you walk into the office. She loves helping others and is always there when you need her. In her free time she enjoys spending time with family and loves a good relaxing cruise.
Sarah is a graduate of Washington University in St. Louis with a Biology degree. She loves to meet new patients and help them on their path to a healthy confident smile. Sarah is from South Florida and now lives in Winter Park. She is married with two children and enjoys decorating and home décor.
Brooklyn born native, Rebekah moved to Florida in 2005 and fell into dentistry and in love with helping patients. She has been in dental management for over 8 years. She is trilingual speaking, English, Spanish and American Sign Language. She has a passion for patient care and attention to detail, as well as motivating her team to strive for greatness! In her free time loves singing karaoke, dancing and soaking up the sun.
Recardo was born and raised on the beautiful island of St. Croix, US Virgin Islands. He moved to Florida in 2008 and graduated from Lincoln College of Technology as an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant. He has been in the dental field for over 10 years and was cross trained as an assistant and patient coordinator. He loves cleaning, cooking and spending time with his son.
Marielynn is originally from Puerto Rico and has extensive experience in dentistry. Before becoming a dedicated Treatment Coordinator, she was a skilled dental assistant for 9 years. This gives her a unique and deep understanding of different dental procedures and how treatment can transform a patients life in a positive way. During her free time she enjoys being social and going to the beach with friends and family. She also has a passion for painting. She is also fluent in Spanish.
Hema has been involved in the dental insurance industry since 2008. Her dedication to patient advocacy resonates with Koyfman Dental's dedication to delivering top-notch dental care. Outside of work, Hema finds joy in spending time with her family, watching Marvel movie and passing on her knowledge of Guyanese cuisine to her children.
Cecilia was born in Mexico and moved to the US in . She lives in Kissimmee with her husband and her dogs. Cecilia is a highly skilled Expanded Functions Dental Assistant who is a natural leader. As the lead assistant, Cecilia makes sure that all patients have a great experience at our office. She is clinically advanced in assisting with oral surgery including full mouth implant placement, cosmetic cases and all restorative procedures. Cecilia is proficient in using the Cerec machine for same day crowns and digital impressions. In her spare time, Cecilia loves to travel and volunteer with her church. She is fluent in Spanish as well.
Larenda has perfected her clinical experience as a dental assistant for 35 years. She was born and raised in Orlando and is married with two grown children. She is an avid Gators fan and lives by the motto “Treat people like you would like to be treated”.
Megan has been in the dental field for over 13 years. She is a highly trained expanded functions dental assistant, quick to make patients feel at ease by building confidence, trust and friendship with each patient. She is devoted to educating patients on their individual needs. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two small boys, traveling, and going to concerts.
Poy has been in the dental field for 4 years, and loves helping patients find relief from pain and regain confidence in their smiles.
Originally from Thailand and a native Thai speaker, she enjoys professionally singing with her Thai music band outside of work.
Briana completed her expanded functions dental assistant certification in 2022. Prior to being a dental assistant she was the Sterile Technician at Koyfman Dental and was key in maintaining and following OSHA standards for infection prevention and equipment sterilization. She loves helping patients and alleviating any fears they might have. In her free time, she loves going to the beach with her son. Briana also is fluent in Spanish.
Stacy has been a dental professional for over 20 years. Starting her career as a dental assistant gives her a unique perspective from all sides of dentistry. As a hygienist, her passion for preventative care and oral health leads her to form amazing connections with all her patients. She is honest and ethical and truly puts the patient first. In her free time she is a busy mom to 3 boys and 2 adorable Frenchies and loves a good spa day.
Andreina “Ana” has been a hygienist since 2018 She was born in Venezuela and graduated as Dentist in 2015 from the University of Carabobo, Venezuela. Ana is passionate about oral health and loves to help her patients feel very comfortable at the office. She speaks Spanish and loves dogs and traveling with her family.
Darren has had an impressive and multifaceted career in dentistry. He started his career as a military-trained hygienist and dedicated himself to our troops and their oral health. He returned from the Gulf War and completed his Bachelor of Science in dental hygiene. His passion for dental hygiene led him to be an instructor and teach hygiene at Valencia Community College. Darren has a gentle demeanor and patients love his ability to communicate and make them feel comfortable. Outside of work, he is a loving father and husband and spends a lot of time on the pickleball court.
Jessica graduated with a degree in Psychology from UCF. Jessica continued her education at Valencia and completed her associates in science for dental hygiene. She also is licensed to administer local anesthesia to ensure patients comfort. As a busy mom of two small kids, she enjoys finding peace at her weekly yoga class.
